Punkin' Pickin'

Every year we take the girls to pick their own pumpkin. This picture is so typical of Olivia. When I take her
picture she is either closing her eyes or has a scowl on her face.
This year Nora was so excited. She wants to decorate the whole house for Halloween. I don't have a lot of Halloween decorations so we made some homemade decorations like garbage bag ghosts. It was fun.

FRIENDS

Jessie for a couple of days Livvy will say to me, "I miss my friend Jessie. I want to hug her and kiss her."

Books & Buddies

Once a month the CCR&R (Childcare, Resource and Referral) office at Utah State organizes a fun themed activity for the kids. This month the theme was tractors. The girls had a lot of fun playing with playdough, playing in the sand and climbing the tractor. The neat thing about this activity is that the children get a free book for coming. Can't beat that.

Horsin' Around

I think this is my new favorite picture of the girls together. Rick and Dickie brought the horses over to the house to visit the girls. The girls love the horses, in fact, they just got a new pony that Nora named "Prince Sparkly".

Water Fun at Grandma's House

Here is a picture of all the grandkids on my side. Top to Bottom: Payton, Elli, Nora, Olivia and Hudson. This number will soon increase by two. My sister-in-law, Sarah is expecting in January and my other sister-in-law, Paige is expecting in May. How fun!!!
My parents have a fun backyard and the kids like to play in the water and ride on the slides. It really is a lot of fun.

DOG TIRED!!!

One of my most favorite things in the world is to watch my girls sleep. I love it because of the sweet, peaceful look on their faces. This picture is Nora to a tee. Nora loves to read books. I just couldn't resist snapping this cute picture of her asleep with a book.
So, I was washing the dishes when I suddenly noticed that all was a little too quiet in the house. This is what I discovered. Olivia was sprawled out on the floor fast asleep with the sippy cup very close by. Oh the sweet moments I cherish as a mom.

Bear Lake Blast

Nora, Livvy and I went to Bear Lake with my family for the 24th of July. Rick was really sick and spent the whole day in bed. Poor Boy!!! We had so much fun. Here is a picture of us kids in the water. From left to right: Nic (my baby brother), Livvy, me, Nora and Sheri (my baby sister). It was so hot that we decided to jump in and take a swim.
This is "Nickel", he is a whiz on the wakeboard. I got a lot of good pictures of him in the air. Livvy and Aunt Sheri just chillin on the beach. Of course, Livvy has a bag of cheetos in her hand. Surprise, surprise.

I love Bear Lake because the water is so shallow that the girls can run around like mad.

Here is a picture of me, Livvy, Nora and Sheri on the water weenie. It was starting to go flat so we were more like a water taco. Nora and Livvy loved it though, Livvy kept telling Grandpa to drive faster.
