I was busy cleaning up after dinner when I suddenly noticed that it was too quiet in the house. I found my girls sitting on the floor like this watching a movie. Sooooooooo sweet! This is an extremely rare occasion so I savored the moment.

Living in a Fairytale.
I really do feel like I am living inside a Disney fairytale. Nora loves princesses and anything that has to do with princesses. In our home each of us has been given names, by Nora, of characters in different Disney movies. Some days Nora is Jasmine, Olivia is Aladdin, Rick is Jafar (figure that one out) and I am the Cave of Wonders. Don't ask me why I am the Cave of Wonders, all I know is that Nora gets scared every time the Cave of Wonders comes up in the movie and even though Rick is Jafar, Jasmine wants to marry him instead of Aladdin. Other days, Nora is Cinderelly, Olivia is Gus Gus, I am Stepmother, and Rick is Prince. I kind of like it when we are playing Cinderella because, as the Stepmother, when I ask Nora to do something she does it.
Olivia is saying a lot of words. My favorite words are playdough, happy and apple. I like it when she says words with the letter P because she always accentuates the "P" so cutely. Olivia really likes to peel things. Her favorite things to peel are tangerines and Hershey kisses. The funny thing is that she doesn't necessarily like to eat them. Peeling them is where the fun is. My parents watched the girls one evening and they had both tangerines and kisses on the kitchen counter. Somehow, Livvy ended up with 10 or so unpeeled kisses and a couple of unpeeled tangerines. She is so cute, I love my Livvy.

We love you Uncle Pete!!!!
Rick's brother Peter left for his mission on January 30th. He is going to the Mexico, Monterey Mission. We are so proud of him. He is an incredible young man. Uncle Pete came up to Logan to visit us the monday before he went to the MTC. We had dinner and watched the Jazz game together. Nora and Olivia really love their Uncle Pete. They are really going to miss him.

Christmas Jammies!!
Every year since I was born my family has had the tradition of getting matching pajamas for Christmas. We always get to open the pajamas on Christmas Eve so we can wear them that night. I am starting that tradition with my family and here are the matching pajamas.
